  1. Soprano Nadine Robinson has been praised for the warmth and expressiveness of her singing.  She has performed with The Little Opera Company of New Jersey, Rutgers Opera Company, New Jersey Concert Opera, Berkshire Opera, and at the Spoleto Festival dei due Mondi.  Her roles have included Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Despina in Così fan tutte, Micaela in Carmen, Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, and Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore.  Esteemed for her vocal clarity and facility, she is also held in high regard as an oratorio soloist.  She has appeared as soprano soloist for performances of Bach’s Magnificat in D, as well as Cantatas BWV 61, 63, 93, 106, 191, and the solo cantata BWV 199.  Other performances include Handel’s Messiah, Dixit Dominus, and the solo cantata La Lucrezia, the Vesperae solennes de confessore and Vesperae de Dominica of Mozart, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Purcell’s The Fairy Queen, Haydn’s Missa Cellensis, Schubert’s Mass in A-flat Major, Mass in C and Magnificat, Fauré’s Requiem, as well as Stravinsky’s Mass. Also active as a recitalist, she has appeared with the La Vita - Williams guitar duo singing songs of Alberto Ginastera. More recently she presented a recital to benefit The Discovery Orchestra, accompanied by her husband, pianist and conductor Mark Hyczko, featuring songs by American composers as well as Manuel de Falla’s Siete Canciones populares Españolas. Upcoming performances include Dido in The Pineda Lyric Opera Company’s November 2009 production of Dido and Aeneas as well as soprano soloist in the Verdi Requiem with The Plainfield Symphony.
